An award winning Writer/Producer and freelance director.
Tavis Northam is a filmmaker, creative director, and writer/producer based in Brooklyn, New York. He is currently a writer/producer at Paramount, Nickelodeon Brand Creative where he’s developed an extensive portfolio of award winning work with shows such as The Tiny Chef Show, SpongeBob, Dora the Explorer, and numerous movie launch campaigns such as Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado, Blue’s Big City Adventure and The Thundermans Return. During his time at Paramount he has also served on the brand writers task force and the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) task force where he helped develop a rebranded tone of voice guide, supported various out of home ad projects, and produced on-channel interstitials that promoted diversity and positivity in kids media and emphasized the brand’s dedication to inclusion.
Outside of kids media, he is the creative director of Archaea where he writes and directs content for emerging fashion designers and influencers in New York including @oldloserinbrooklyn, Tory Burch, Theory, Allina Liu, Caroline Zimbalist and more. He has directed several paid social media ads that have broken benchmarks, developed YouTube and Tik Tok series, and is now looking forward to producing his first NYFW show this Fall/Winter 2025 season.
