Super Bowl LVIII on Nickelodeon

As a writer/producer on the Paramount Kids & Family marketing team, I wrote and edited over a dozen social-first videos both leading up to the big game and during live coverage to drive massive audience numbers to the channel. The game, which “takes place” in Bikini Bottom on Nickelodeon, incorporated live AR graphics and pre-taped animated moments to bring slime, SpongeBob, and Nickelodeon references to the game. My team and I were responsible for “Nick-ifying” the game with scripts for penalties as explained by Dora the Explorer, quips from the cast of SpongeBob Squarepants, and some fun slime related humor from the hosts. All of this combined with the regular game feed from the NFL resulted in the most watched telecast event since the moon landing in 1969.
